Joshua P. Searcy

Joshua is the son of
Jason R. Searcy.
Mr. Searcy received his Juris Doctorate in 2005 from Baylor University School of Law. He distinguished himself academically and as a
Semi-Finalist in the Strasburger & Price Moot Court Competition in 2004. Baylor Law School is nationally recognized for its trial preparation curriculum.
Previously
Joshua Searcy earned his Bachelor
of Arts from Trinity University
in San Antonio, Texas, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and History, along with a minor in International Studies.
Living as an exchange student in ViƱa del Mar, Chile
for six months
during his junior
year, Joshua
developed fluency in
both written and
spoken Spanish. He has traveled extensively in several Spanish speaking
countries, including Mexico,
Chile, Spain, Peru, Argentina,
Guatemala, and Uruguay.
Joshua
has developed strengths
which will serve his clients
well. He is meticulous and
detail driven. With a degree
in history, he learned research
techniques which translate well to the practice of law. Learning a foreign language
taught him discipline and developed
a work ethic that keeps him at
the job until conclusion.
Joshua
Searcy is admitted to practice
in the State of Texas, the United
States District Courts for the
Northern, Southern,
Eastern, and Western
Districts of Texas, and the Fifth
Circuit Court of Appeals. He
is also a member of the Bankruptcy
section of the State Bar Association
of Texas, the Gregg County Bar
Association, the Texas Young
Lawyers Association, and the
American Bar Association.
